The Grandma’s House

It is a space open for those who feel the call to share memories, stories, traditions, crafts, recipes, medicine, healing, art and anything related to feminine wisdom, grandmothers, nature and community.

Meet Rosita & Pepa

The Colombian grandmothers that inspired this beautiful project.

Rosita

Her house smelled like roses, full of flowers, and beautiful plants. Always painting, sewing, doing magic with her beautiful hands.

She was the life and soul of the party!! Always cheerful and celebrating with a beautiful smile on her face. Her house was full of treasures waiting to be found, all kinds of incredible objects with an amazing story behind. 

Pepa

Her house smelled like fresh brewed Colombian coffee and “Maria Luisa” cake. Always ready to play coffee/tea party with her granddaughters. She was our sweet and beautiful grandma that loved cookies and ice cream.

Our favorite spot was her closet, where she would hide amazing metal tins full of delicious cookies. Planting tangerine seeds in her garden, is my most vivid memory.
